About ReEnergize the Vote
Our generation is the largest and most diverse generation in American history. Now we are poised to become the largest and most influential voting block in the American electorate.
In 2008, young people turned out to vote in record numbers. Over 22 million of us cast ballots on Election Day 2008, and proved our generation as a political force in this country. When we vote again in 2010, we will show decision-makers that we are still engaged, still powerful, and still serious about changing our country for the better.
ReEnergize the Vote is a non-partisan, youth-focused voter registration and mobilization campaign being run by the Sierra Club and our allies across the country.
The ReEnergize the Vote campaign aims to build power for young people by engaging, educating, and empowering our peers to make their voices heard in the 2010 elections. By showing up in record numbers at the voting booth, we will show elected officials that they must address the issues facing our generation.
